Can I wear just one multi focal contact lens?
I've only been "test driving" them for three days, but they make my distance vision very bad. When taking them out today, I realized I can see beautifully both near and far with only the left lens in my eye. I can tell my optometrist is not a multi focal contact fan, but I've paid this place a lot of money already. I really want this to work. I have a follow up appt. next week. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Sure you can wear just one lens, if that's what works.
There are no hard and fast rules with multi-focals...what ever works is all we and you can ask for.
