image stabilizer...how important in digi cams?
I'm considering the nikon cool pix S4 with 6 MP and a 10x optical zoom. The major downside is that it has no image stabilizer. What do you think?
If possible, can u tell me other nikon or canon cams with such feature?
My experience with Image Stabilization is with a Canon lens on a Canon DSLR. Essentially, IS helps alot in low light situations, or at long zooms. If you shoot with a flash all the time, or in otherwise bright situations, you won't need it, but if you're shooting indoors at night with no flash, or completely zoomed in on something while hand-held, IS helps a ton.
