I have a huge red spot around the area where I just got shots?
I had to get 5 shots yesterday. 2 on my left arm and 3 on my right. They were chicken pox, hpv, whooping cough, and 2 other diseases. But on my right arm there is this huge red spot where the shots were and its like raised a bit and its like harder than the rest of my arm and its really warm. Its more sore than it was the day I got the shots and on my left arm I have a smaller version of that. Should I be worried or is that normal?
Normal. Try to start at injection site & press down while spreading your finger away from the harder spot.
Vaccines are thick sera & doesn't spread around by itself so it gets hard by injection site.
Take 2 Advil or Aleve to reduce swelling & warmth. Put ice on injection site...10 min. on, 10 min. off.
